Home maintenance…why?

So I know I’ve said it, (probably more than once!) people always love their hair most when it’s healthy. So of course it is of the utmost importance to replace what you deplete. If you’re having color or highlighting services you most certainly should be doing treatments of some sort during that visit. Many people will decline treatments due to cost as well as at home care but please be aware you are only with your stylist 1% of the time which means the other 99% is up to you. If you are investing money into your color and highlights why would you then go home and use a cheap drug store shampoo that is going to strip and ruin that color? What your hair ultimately looks like is only partially up to us. We can only do so much while your with us and make suggestions and give you guidance. We can not make you follow through. Home maintenance is crucial!!! Using the right shampoo, conditioner and products can be life changing. There is nothing worse than a client complaining about color fade or not having the ability to tame their mane and then saying they use Pantene or some other drug store brand. I myself am an ambassador for Kérastase and give them credit where credit is due! They are definitely a big part of how I keep my clients hair happy!!! But we also have the South shore water problem which is working against us which makes the correct home care even more essential in our area, especially Hingham. As I said previously I can only suggest and anyone in the area that wants to stop into A-Z Studio on Main Street in Hingham to get some suggestions please do!
